On Sunday evening, after much jet-lag recovery & relaxation, we met our Intrepid group. Six Aussies, two Americans, and a Canadian, and our guide is from Ukraine – great group. Somehow theyHad an informational meeting then went out to dinner.
The next day we took a morning bike ride to see some of the main sites of Copenhagen. Some repeats from my walkabout earlier, but more fun & informative with our guide Dexter…
After our ride, we had a spot of lunch, then most of us went to visit “Freetown Christiania,” an autonomous commune or intentional community near downtown Copenhagen that began in 1971 when some “hippies” started squatting at an abandoned military base.
