We left Budapest to go to the Kopacki Rit Nature Park. Along the way, we stopped in vineyard for a picnic lunch…

We arrived and took a boat trip into a protected estuary and did more than a little bit of bird watching…

From there, we were able to walk to our hotel for the night where we had a lovely dinner (that would have been very sparse for vegetarians)…

On our way to Novi Sad, we stopped in Vukovar to visit a bombed water tower and a hospital that had been bombed during the Croatia War of Independence from Serbia in 1991…

We moved on, crossed the border into Serbia, and drove on to Novi Sad, where we took a walk around the city…

That evening some of us walked up to the Petrovaradin Fortress to enjoy the sunset…

The next day we drove on to Belgrade…
