On the day we were supposed to drive by to Delhi, Charlie had an appendectomy! The surgeon was Dr. Atul Gupta, but there have been many other doctors, nurses, and caregivers. The experience has been mixed, but we’re grateful that he has been cared for. Mary Lynn has been staying at the hospital while I’ve been with Veronica at the hotel.
